It's a system that takes  heat  from one  place and by means of refrigerant moves      it to another place. Just like putting water  into an  ice tray  and  placing  it  in your  freezer the heat contained in the water is  removed and if you put your hand under       or behind your  refrigerator you will feel     the heat taken  from the water  displaced     to a coil outside your refrigerator.
